Around the bridge is a good spot to livebait for Mangrove jack in summer. An hour before and after the change of the tide is the best time, drift a live bait into the jetty or close to the bridge pylons with a lightly weight sinker.

    I am disabled and would like to fish the outer areas of Sovereign Island near the main channel.Any access around the front ( very big ) houses would be appreciated. I would use live nippers as bait.Any help Thank you regards Steven Diamond.
