Where to go fishing near Wooli Beach?

• Wooli River Jacks From here upstream anglers can target mangrove jack mainly in summer on lures. In winter they are still around but its best to fish at night with live baits for them. Flathead and bream are also caught upstream of here.
• Wooli River flathead Good flathead fishing on the run out tide, use soft plastics bounced along the bottom. The deeper hole downstream of here on the river bed also holds flathead and bream at the bottom of the tide.
• Wooli Oyster Leases 02 The oyster leases have great bream fishing on lures, a rising tide is good.
• Wooli Oyster Leases Oyster leases produce bream on lures, can be really great fishing but be prepared to lose some gear! The small channels and gutters upstream from here have good flathead on the run out tide.
• Wooli River Jetties Fish around the man made structures like jetties for Bream, night time is best. Metal vibes or soft plastics jigged beside the pylons works well as does bait.
• Wooli River entrance Yabbies can be pumped from these sand flats, then pick almost any spot from here upstream along the picnic area and soak a bait for Flathead, Whiting and Bream.
• Wooli River northern breakwall This is a popular spot at dawn and dusk for Mulloway on both lures and live bait. By catches of Flathead, bream and Tailor. This spot is best fished around the turn of the tides when there is less tidal movement.
• Wilsons headland Some good fishing platforms in calm weather, big tailor are caught off here along with Bream.
• Diggers Camp The beach here has whiting and bream on a rising tide. The headland here have some great fishing platforms for Tailor and Bream.
