Where to go fishing near Woolgoolga Beach?

• Woolgoolga Headland south There are some good ledges at Woolgoolga headland that fish well for Mulloway, Bream and Tailor. Mulloway are best on a rising tide at dawn or dusk, 100cm soft plastics will work out here.
• Woolgoolga Headland This spot is a bit more protected from a south easterly swell, Bream, Tailor and Mulloway are all common catches here.
• Mulloway Headland Walk down a goat track to get to these great fishing ledges, anglers can target Mulloway on lures here as well as live bait. Tailor and bream are also common catches, metal slugs work well for tailor 70g.
• Station Creek Mouth This is a good fishing spots for Mulloway, Bream and even Tailor. Both the incoming and going tides are great for Mulloway.
• Station Creek Headland Some great Tailor fishing off these ledges close to Pebbly Beach Camp ground. Best bet to drive a 4wd down close to the headland and walk out. Bream and Mulloway are also common catches, check the beach to the north.
