Where to go fishing near Titchilla Cliffs?

  • Titchilla Good camping and fishing. The creek has Blue and Threadfin Salmon, Cod, Queenfish and the odd Barramundi in Summer.
  • Banningarra Creek Small boats can be launched from the shore here giving access to some great fishing in the creek. Barramundi in summer, Threadfin and Blue salmon most of the year and Mangrove Jack all year round.
  • Offshore Pardoo There are several small reefs and islands off Pardoo and the cape. These fishing spots produce Tuskfish, Coral Trout, Mackerel, Trevally and Queenfish.
  • Pardoo Creek Anglers can expect Threadfin and Blue Salmon, Trevally, Queenfish and bread and butter species. The barramundi fishing is best from November to February. The odd Triple Tail are also caught around the mouth of the creek.
  • Banningarra Creek Accessed via four wheel drive, fishing the small inlet to the south on an incoming tide for Threadfin Salmon, the odd barramundi in Summer.
  • Baked Bean Creek Accessed via four wheel drive, it is not recommended driving across the tidal flats during the spring tides. The creek has mangrove jack, threadfin salmon, bream, flathead and the odd Barramundi.
  • Pardoo Beach The beach fishing in the dirty water is good for Threadfin Salmon most of the year although winter seems the best. Use fresh strip mullet or prawns to tempt a good sized threadfin salmon.
  • Pardoo Creek Accessed via two wheel drive, Pardoo Creek has several camping spots and a few good places to go fishing. The best option for land based fishing here is using live baits, particularly mullet. Anglers can expect Barramundi (November to February), Threadfin Salmon and Mangrove Jack.
