The Cooya Beach ramp is at the Northern end of the community and is a single lane concrete ramp for small craft. It access the South Mossman River and can be a difficult place to launch on low tide due to the shallow section of the river. It has a public toilet and car park area, however remember to bring all valuables with you and secure trailers as this area has little traffic.
