Where to go fishing near Yeppoon Beach Fishing?

  • Fishing Creek Accessed primarly via kayak, fishing creek provides exceptional fishing on the right tides. Beware of resident crocodiles.
  • Corio Bay Mouth Black jewfish in deep holes around the mouth and west towards headland. Jewfish are best targeted at late afternoons and at night. Beware tide moves fast during incoming and outgoing tides, mouth of Corio Bay drains quickly.  
  • Corio Bay Salmon If timed correctly fishing for Salmon here is great. Also Flathead, Trevally along with Bream are always lurking around. Look for the eddies made from the current, fishes well on both incoming and outgoing tides.
