This ramp is located near the ferry crossing of the Daintree River and is a single lane concrete ramp for vessels up to 16ft. It is a narrow and steep ramp with a fairly deep drop off into sand at low tide.
Go slow and steady, can be slippery but is a great point of access to the pristine Daintree River intertidal zone, out to Snapper Island and the Coral Sea. Watch out for shallow banks along the river.
There is a fair bit of car parking, however it can get busy on weekends and after some rain. Expect to wait when launching or retrieving when the ramp is busy, but it is well worth it.
