Greenhead
Greenhead is located only 20mins north of Jurien Bay. Land based fishing spots at Greenhead aren’t particularly productive due to the shallow waters. Weed along the beaches is also a problem for anglers trying to fish land based. Most of Greenhead fishing spots produce Herring, Tailor, Whiting and Silver Trevally, however expect them to be fairly small. Further north near Dongara the waters are deeper and provide better fishing.

Dynamite Bay
Attracts a lot of weed, however can fish okay for Herring, Tailor and Whiting at times.
South Bay
Inside South can provide some protection from the weed and it can produce Tailor and Whiting.
Point Louise
A scenic spot, Point Louise can fish well for Tailor and Whiting.
Offshore Greenhead fishing
Offshore fishing at Greenhead can be fantastic. The warm waters of the Leeuwin Current bring tropical fish south creating a diverse array of species. Only a small boat is required provided the weather is good, for the chance to catch Dhufish, Baldchin Groper, Samson Fish, Snapper, Mackerel and Tuna. Bottom bouncing drop offs in close is one of the most effective ways to land some great Baldchin Gropers at Greenhead. Trolling and casting lures around the drop offs during summer is the best time to target Spanish Mackerel and Yellowfin Tuna.
